But you don’t want to charge $300 if everyone else is charging $50. That’s a good way to fail in your business. You can get this information online, and on the telephone by posing as a client. In the beginning, you will want to set your prices a little lower than theirs. Then raise them as you gain experience.

Resumes are short. Once you know what you’re doing, you can finish one in as little as two hours. Let’s say you charge $75 for a resume. If you can complete 4 of those per day, and work 5 days a week—that’s $1500 dollars a week. That equals $6,000 a month, and $72,000 per year!
